The new hardening technology has already been partially implemented at our facility in Suzhou, China, and will now be rolled out on a full scale. It will be followed by implementation across all Suzuki Garphyttan sites over the coming years.
- We are very proud of the work we have achieved in this field and excited to see how this groundbreaking technology will be used throughout our company in the future. A very positive change both for our employees and for the world around us, says Totti Zhu, Sales Manager China at Suzuki Garphyttan.
A proven and reliable method
Rigorously tested and evaluated together with our major customers in an early stage, this new technology maintains the Suzuki Garphyttan high-quality standards. At the same time, our customers will also gain the added benefit of a production process free from oil and lead.
All oil-tempered volumes from Suzuki Garphyttan in Suzhou, excluding some special wire, will be affected by this transition to the new hardening technology. The existing production method will be phased out during the second quarter of 2025 to ensure Suzuki Garphyttan is being compliant with local regulatory requirements.
Together for a better tomorrow
We are proud and pleased to lead the way in this technology shift, while maintaining the high product quality our customers are accustomed to. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who provided valuable input during the development process.
