ABOUT THE ROLE
Suzuki Garphyttan is looking for motivated and engaged summer workers who want to contribute to keeping our production in Garphyttan running throughout the summer. Experience is an advantage but not a requirement – the most important thing is your willingness to learn and develop.
We are looking for those who want to gain valuable practical experience in the industry, whether you have recently completed a technical high school education or are currently studying at a university. For engineering students, this is an excellent opportunity to gain insight into a production environment and strengthen your future career.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for individuals interested in working in a production environment. With a strong focus on safety, you quickly learn new things and have the ability to understand and follow routines. We appreciate active individuals with good physical fitness and a strong interest in technology. We believe that you are an engaged and driven person who enjoys working both independently and collaboratively with others.
As a production operator, you will work safely to produce wire with high quality, productivity, and delivery precision. You are responsible for always doing your best and collaborating with colleagues in line with our vision and values – Care, Dare, and Share. Furthermore, you take active responsibility in workplace safety by following applicable protective instructions and safety regulations.
We value having summer workers with a B driver's license and access to their own car to ensure easy transportation to our facility. Additionally, it is an advantage if you are a university student in a technical field and interested in returning as a summer worker for multiple summers.

Working Hours
Between weeks 16-33, you will be employed as a full-time summer substitute, working in shifts covering all hours of the day.
Additional Information
Your employment as a summer substitute begins with training that lasts approximately 8-10 weeks, so it is important that you can start working between weeks 16-18 to receive the necessary training.
Before employment begins, a pre-employment health check and a drug test will be conducted at the occupational health service. You must also be able to provide a criminal record certificate from the police.
