Recycling and more
We're committed to reducing our environmental impact in a variety of ways. We measure the levels of substances in our emissions to ensure they are well below legal requirements, and we recycle steel waste from our production back into the steel supply chain. We also sort material waste from our production at recycling stations and provide our employees with the resources and knowledge they need to fulfill our environmental policy.
Ambitious sustainability goals
We have set ambitious targets to help us further reduce our environmental impact, including reducing our CO2 emissions by 50 percent by 2030, eliminating all non-environmentally friendly elements used in production by 2025, limiting our freshwater usage, increasing our recycling volumes, and achieving zero waste to landfill. We're working hard to eliminate non-environmentally friendly processes from our production facilities and replace plastics and other dated materials with 100 percent recyclable steel.
