Site Garphyttan, Sweden, achieves ISO 45001:2018 certification

We're pleased to share that our facility in Garphyttan has been granted the ISO 45001:2018 certification as of September 18, 2023.

The significance of ISO 45001:2018

ISO 45001:2018 sets international guidelines for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. This certification allows us to provide a more secure setting for our staff and anyone else who interacts with our operations, irrespective of the size or scope of our activities.

Having the ISO 45001:2018 certification is not only a landmark in our journey toward a zero-accident workplace, but also a key requirement for entering new market segments. We work hard for a company-wide culture where safety is everyone’s responsibility, maintaining a proactive approach. This shift in culture will ultimately reduce safety-related downtime and increase not only occupational health for all involved, but efficiency as well.

This decision arises from a weakened European market and decreased production volumes. The decision will affect industrial workers at the facility in Garphyttan, Sweden.
